Atlanta developer Ben Carter has officially begun work on his $1.2 billion lifestyle center in Buckhead which will include four hotels, one a 175-room 5-star hotel developed by Barry Hotel Partners. Condo units, coffee-shops, luxury retailers, boutiques, and restaurants will also be a part of what has to be the most incredible assemblage of 8 acres in Atlanta. Many thought Carter could not pull off such an incredible assemblage of real estate and actually get the project underway. Completion remains to be seen, but it appears the hard part is done for Carter.
