“The Spring City project is moving forward,” said General Shale Brick Vice President of Corporate Development and Marketing Mark Kinser. “The project is not on hold, the process is just slow.” These comments came from Kinser on Friday afternoon, following publication of a Chattanooga Times Free Press story about a General Shale store opening in Chattanooga but stating that Spring City’s brick factory had been put on hold.
